Conçu comme un véritable lieu de vie mixte, il intègre des habitations, des espaces collectifs, ainsi que des commerces et des ateliers d'artistes en rez-de-chaussée, le tout connecté par une passerelle suspendue au-dessus d'un jardin central.
Elle met en valeur une architecture bioclimatique aux courbes organiques et à la structure bois apparente, intégrant une tour d'habitation et des bâtiments bas reliés par une passerelle piétonne au-dessus d'un jardin intérieur.
Cette perspective en hauteur permet d'apprécier la volumétrie unique du projet, avec sa tour aux lignes organiques qui répond au bâtiment bas. On visualise clairement l'articulation des espaces collectifs, notamment les vastes toitures végétalisées et la passerelle qui enjambe le jardin intérieur.

The Carré des Arts located in Vertou, in the first belt of Nantes , is typical of human-scale programs , modernizing the neighborhoods bordering the booming cities of the great west.
This architectural model consists of two adjoining buildings, distinguished by the materiality of their zinc roofs of different rhythms and colors. The concrete structures integrating the balconies also help differentiate the volumes. The choice of the same materials for the stone-clad base and the white plasterwork bring a uniformity to the whole.
The crossing hall, the central element of the project, is enhanced by the lighting which reveals the remarkable locksmithing of the entrance gates. In addition, the Busway stop, a direct link to the center of Nantes and ideally located near the building, is represented in detail. Indeed, it allows to show the good connection of the project to public transport, an important element when choosing a real estate purchase. Finally, the landscaped green strip has been carefully designed. It provides a certain distance and comfort to the residents with respect to the street.
